Paradox Brewery re-releasing Love Potion #4, Celebrating One Year at North Hudson Location!

The following is a guest blog post submitted by Paradox Brewery.

This February, Paradox Brewery is rereleasing our popular fruit and lactose ale, Love Potion #4. Created by our Production Manager and Brewer Dalton “Quattro” Wilson with beautiful artwork by Jes Turco, this peachy beverage will be available on February 12th exclusively at our tasting room in North Hudson NY then distributed on February 26th throughout the state. The release of Love Potion #4 purposefully coincides with Valentine’s Day and will be added to our selection of core and specialty brews as well as our newest 1911 Rose Cider to add some love into the air.

On February 13th we will be celebrating our one-year anniversary at our new location. Last year we were only open for a few weeks before we had to shut down due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This year has been challenging yet rewarding and we want to thank our customers for all of their support. In honor of this special occasion, our owner, Paul Mrocka, will be making and serving his special pizzas on both Saturday, February 13th, and Sunday, February 14th while supplies last. Throughout the day, you can head over to our Facebook page to read the great memories from both our staff and customers from the past year at Paradox Brewery.

Currently, our tasting room hours are Wednesday through Saturday 12-6pm and Sunday 12-4pm.  We will be extending our tasting room hours on Sunday, February 14th from 12-6 pm and will be open on Monday, February 15th from 12-4 pm for President’s Day. Our indoor tasting room is open at half capacity as is our outdoor pavilion. Near the outdoor pavilion, you can find Snowmobilers Only parking spaces for our friends on sleds.

With our new kitchen, we will be offering more food options for our customers. Currently, we have soft pretzels made with our IPA, homemade Paradox Brewery beer cheese, regular tater tots as well as sweet potato tots with melba sauce. As stated above, we will be introducing pizza to our lineup as well as tasty french fries.

In anticipation of our specialty releases throughout the year, in the next few weeks, you can catch a glimpse on our social media channels of barrels for our soon-to-be barrel-aged specialty beers. Our first barrel-aged beer of the year will be Ay Up Duck, created by our Head Brewer and Director of Operations, Devon Hamilton. Devon wrote the recipe, created the label, and picked out the barrels for this new release expected to be out this spring.
