LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. — After nearly two years of being postponed, it’s finally time to let the dogs out.
On May 21-22, 2022, Tails and Ales will return to Lake George Village where hundreds will gather to enjoy an afternoon of dog loving, beer drinking, and family fun.
This event, hosted by Adirondack Pub & Brewery along with The Dog Cabin in Lake George, brings in people from all over the Northeast and really jumpstarts the event season in Lake George.
“One of the things we’ve seen attract visitors to Lake George during the non-summer months has been our events, such as Oktoberfest, Barrel Fest, and now Tails & Ales,” says Adirondack Brewery owner John Carr.
Attendees can expect a dog dock-diving competition, a lure obstacle course, a K9 demo by the Warren County Sheriffs, and plenty of games and activities for the whole family.
There will be food and beer provided by the Adirondack Pub & Brewery. You can also expect a number of vendors selling dog-related goods along with all kinds of other goodies. Plus enjoy live music by Vinnie Leddick, Blue Moon Band, and DJ Chas Absolute Sound.
“We’re just so glad to have the event back this year, and we anticipate our largest turn out ever,” says Lisa Giknis, The Dog Cabin owner. “After 2 years away we know everyone is ready to get outside with their pups and enjoy some family time with all the dog lovers in the community.”
A minimum $5 donation per person to enter.
Kids under 5 are free.
Tails & Ales is located at the event space behind High Peaks Distilling at 1 Canada Street, Lake George, NY.
The money raised by this event will benefit the Warren County SPCA and Woofs for Warriors.
Come out and enjoy an afternoon of dogs, beer, food, and family.
