The following is a guest blog post submitted by Paradox Brewery.

Now that the summer season is quickly approaching, we have been adjusting to the lifting of regulations from the CDC and Governor of New York. As of May 19th, Paradox Brewery has been operating at full capacity in our indoor tasting room and adjacent deck with fully vaccinated guests. In order to operate at full capacity, we are requiring proof of vaccination when entering our indoor tasting room. Guests who show proof of vaccination do not have to wear a mask. To keep our customers safe who cannot or choose not to get vaccinated, we are offering socially distanced seating at our outdoor pavilion. Masks and other safety guidelines as recommended by the CDC are in place.

We are currently in production of an additional pavilion at our location in North Hudson NY. With hopes to accommodate more guests, we will also be adding a tasting tent. On Memorial Day Weekend, we added an outdoor on-tap bar where guests can come up and grab one of our beverages. Limiting this bar to only on-tap brews, we are able to more efficiently keep our guests happy!

In collaboration with the Oyster Pop-Up Bar Company, we will be hosting an oyster event on June 4th. From 3-6pm, customers can come and purchase a variety of oysters from the Oyster Pop-Up Bar Company for just $3 per oyster. From 3-4pm, there will be a ‘2 Buck Shuck’ offering $2 oysters.

Starting June 9th, we will be extending our hours of operation. We will be open from 12-6pm Wednesday and Thursday; 12-8pm Friday and Saturday; and 12-6pm Sunday.

On June 18th we will be releasing Clever Cortex, a Belgian Style Witte Ale with Coriander and Orange Peel. Just in time for Father’s Day, this new brew will be a special release will be packed with flavor and add a perfect introduction to the summer season.

We will be hosting a vaccine clinic ‘Brewing Immunity in Our Community’ on June 26th. In collaboration with the Essex County Health Department, the Johnson and Johnson vaccine will be offered at our parking lot adjacent to our building. Guests who get vaccinated will then receive a token for a free beverage at our tasting room. This event will last from 12-4pm.

We are actively hiring new employees for our kitchen, including cooks, preps, runners, and dishwashers.
