Oktoberfest is back in the Adirondacks

Prost! It’s time to toast Oktoberfest season, which is back in 2021 after a year without these traditional brouhahas.

 

Adirondack Pub & Brewery announced that the annual three-day Columbus Day Weekend Oktoberfest event will be back in Lake George this year. Time to dust off your lederhosen and get ready to have the WURST time this fall!

 

Enjoy the fall foliage (which is often at peak Columbus Day weekend) at this Bavarian-style street fair on Canada Street in Lake George near Shepard Park. Traditional Oktoberfest fare, tasty beer, and live music are all part of the fun. There is no charge to enter. Food and drink are available for purchase.

 

Here are the dates & times:

  • Friday, October 8 from 5-9 p.m.
  • Saturday, October 9 from noon to 10 p.m.
  • Sunday, October 10 from noon to 5 p.m

 

Keeping the Stein Full

 

Adirondack Pub & Brewery is also bringing back its Oktoberfest Celebration the following Saturday at the Pub.

 

This will be their 15th Annual Oktoberfest Celebration on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 1 to 5 p.m.

 

What can you expect? Non-stop polka music of course, so don your dancing shoes with your lederhosen. An awesome beer garden with NYS guest breweries and a tasty menu including Bratwurst, Knackwurst, and Weisswurst plus all the German fixings.

 

There will also be keg tossing, stein hoisting, a costume contest, cornhole and much more.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Ben Osborn Memorial Fund.

Northway’s New Oktoberfest

 

The next weekend on Saturday, October 23, 2021, Northway Brewing Co. in Queensbury will host its first Oktoberfest from 3 to 7 p.m. with live music by The North & South Dakotas.

 

They will have various breweries, distilleries, cideries, wineries, and food on site.
