Adirondack Wine & Food Festival to Return in 2021

Mark your calendars! The Adirondack Wine & Food Festival will return to Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George on June 26 and 27 in 2021.

We missed this event — like so many others — in 2020, so we can’t wait to enjoy the chance to taste wine, beer, spirits, chocolate, cheese, and more goodies from around New York state.

For more information, read the statement below from the organizers and visit adkwinefoodfest.com.

“We are greatly disappointed to announce the cancellation of the 2020 Adirondack Wine & Food Festival due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. We did everything we could to prepare to host a safe and fun event, but we now feel it is in the best interest of our attendees, vendors, volunteers, and staff to cancel.

When we rescheduled earlier this year, we were hopeful that we would be able to provide an event that everyone would be happy with and most importantly, an event where everyone would feel safe.

While we had patiently anticipated that New York State would update its Farmer’s Market regulations, those guidelines still prohibit sampling on premises and do not allow for entertainment, seating, and other elements integral to our event.

We will now turn our focus to planning next year’s festival, back to our usual “kickoff to the summer” time of year, June 26th & 27th, 2021!

TICKET HOLDERS: All remaining tickets will be automatically refunded (base ticket price paid only, no taxes, credit card or ticket processing fees will be returned due to terms of our ticket vendor).

Please allow 1-2 weeks for your refund to be processed.

VENDORS: We look forward to having all of our vendors back at the 2021 event (Vendor booth fees paid will be rolled to 2021). Please feel free to message us or email us at [email protected] and we will answer all questions in the order they are received.

And if you can swing it, we hope you’ll consider donating to our festival beneficiary, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks. This amazing group does so much for the children in our community, but they have had their ability to raise money greatly impacted by COVID-19.

Last year, we were able to raise over $15,000 and we’re sure they were hoping for something similar again this year. They could use your help now more than ever!

Any support is welcome! Thank you and we can’t wait to see everyone next June!”
